About THE ALIM SHOW and Episode 1

Is your degree enough in the AI age?

Introducing THE ALIM SHOW.

Big Questions. Real Decisions. Human Stories.

THE ALIM SHOW brings together people from technology, cybersecurity, healthcare, manufacturing, banking and finance, education, government, and beyond. We explore the experiences behind their work, the decisions that tested them, and the lessons that shaped their lives.

In an era increasingly shaped by AI, how do we embrace new opportunities while protecting the people and essential services we depend on?

Across the series, we’ll explore cyber resilience, cyber risk quantification, governance, compliance, business leadership, and workforce development. From hospitals and banks to factories and classrooms, we’ll ask how organizations prepare for disruption, keep operating, recover, and adapt.

We’ll also make room for creativity, personal journeys, and life beyond work.

After more than 30 years in cybersecurity and technology, I’ve learned that better decisions begin with better questions. That curiosity is what I’m bringing to this show.

For Episode 1, I sit down with Dr. Badrul Khan to explore AI, jobs, education, and the future of learning. As technology changes how we work, what should we learn, and how do we keep adapting?

Dr. Khan is an e-learning pioneer and a 2015 USDLA Hall of Fame inductee. He earned his PhD in Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University and served as founding director of the Educational Technology Leadership graduate program at George Washington University.
